Barbie was honored this week at PCA's Christian Eduacator's Conference with the "Excellence in Teaching" award. We are so proud of her. I love her. She is an amazing teacher, mother and wife and we are so blessed to have her in our lives.

Weekend Happenings
Well, Friday we went to a student production of A.A. Milne's "The Ugly Duckling" being performed at PCA. Here are shots of the Aiga before the performance. Audrey looks like she she was trying to "shh" me, but she was trying to keep her lady bug's antennae in her mouth. The children really enjoyed the play. Here are Jarod and Dianna posing outside of Sonny's Bar-B-Q before dinner.

Barbie's Birthday Dinner
So we kept with our tradition of going to the Melting Pot for Barbie's birthday. It was so good. Mom and Dad and Terri kept the children overnight so we could go out. Barbie also got a free thing of chocolate-covered strawberries for her birthday from the restaurant. We had a very good time together. Alofa tele.

Get Up and Move
So we are trying to get healthy. We are trying to go for a walk in the evenings. Our walks can be anywhere from 1 to 2 miles. We have been tracking our walks and started out with a 27 minute per mile pace and have recently achieved a 19 minute/38 sec pace. We are very excited about this change we are making. Barbie and I are also trying to make better food choices at meals. We bought new sneakers for our walks (Jarod and Audrey already had sneaks).
