We had such a great visit with Audrey tonight. We had a surprise when we arrived: Audrey was wide awake! So beautiful!! Barbie was able to give her a bath. Audrey had lost 3 lbs but has gained back 2lbs putting her weight at 2 lbs 12 oz. The nurses also told us that she was doing such a good job eating that they were increasing her food intake to 14 ml every 3 hours. Thank you for your continued prayers and love. Love you all.
We took the older siblings out to a special breakfast at Waffle House. We had a good time just being together. It was very important to Barbie and I to have some special time with just the two of them, since we will be spending a lot of time at the hospital with Audrey. It was fun....and yummy.
Here is Audrey chilling in her incubator. She is no longer jaundiced and so does not need the UV lights anymore. Thank you for the prayers. Mom Bailey stayed with the children while we went to visit with Audrey. Thank you for all the prayers and love. She is sleeping like Jarod does. So cute! Love you all. Stay tuned for more Audrey sightings. Same bat time, same bat station. Ta-Ta. P.s. since she was wiggly jiggly while she was still in the womb I joked that I would call her "Wiggy". Maybe. She is just so precious. I know it was just a reflex, but I am going to say that she wanted to hold my hand.

On October 4, 2011, @ 9:39 am CST, the blessed our family with little miss Audrey Summer Palepa Tupua. She weighed 2 lbs 13 oz. She is in the NICU and will most likely be there anywhere from 6 weeks to 3 months. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Love you all.
