Disney Adventure Part 2

Well, on today'sjourney we ventured to exexplore Disney's newest resort: The Art of Animation. Here there are different areas, each devoted to a Disney animated feature. The areas are Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo and Cars. We visited the Cars area; this area was very well done. You feel as if you have stepped into the screen to visitthe sleepy little town of Radiator Springs off of Route 66.
Barbie made both of the tutus that the gurls are wearing. They are so adorable! Love you all. Talk to you later.

Sports Center Night

So last weekend we went to the Sports Center for some family rec time. We had a blast! The kids a Barbie tried out the Rock Wall (this was Jatod and Dianna's only second time on tge wall). They all did great, and even Audrey was trying it  out. Love you all.
In case you were wondering where I was...well, someone had to take pictures. :)

A Photo Progession of the Girls' "Mostly" Finished Room

Here is a photo tour (of sorts) of Dianna and Audrey's room. It was a long job but we were able to mostly finish the room. The last step is to get some crown moulding forthe ceiling.  Praise the LORD for HIS goodness and blessings on our project.  Alofa tele.

An Intimate Get Together

Barbie and the children planned a wonderful surprise party for my "29th" birthday. It was a great time with family and friends. It was Doctor Who themed and it was phenomenal. We had grilled skewered chicken, veggies, and fruit salad and lots of fellowship. The cake was a 3D amazing cake featuring the Doctor's ship that can travel through time and space: the T.A.R.D.I.S. (Time And Relative Dimension In Space). The ship is surrounded by the time displacing enemies, the Weeping Angels. It was a yellow cake with a banana pudding filling. The food was excellent and the fellowship was better. Barbie and the children were so sweet to plan and host this party on my behalf. I am so lucky. We still have a lot of marinated chicken so come on over. Alofa tele.

Outing with Uncle Resa

Alright. So the children got a great surprise yesterday in that we arrived home to see Uncle Resa here (Barbie and I knew but wanted to surprise the kiddies). We have had a wonderful time already. Today started with a hunt for some breakfast...and I do mean hunt. We drove past three Waffle Houses that were packed and then wound up at Denny's. Denny's is where the pics of the kids and Res were taken. After brunch we came home and put together some projects from Lowe's that were Monster's University inspired. After that we had a nap and then it was off to the grand opening of Dick's Sporting Goods for Res, Jarod, Audrey and myself. Will post more later. Love you all.

Dianna and Audrey's Bedroom Progess Update

So, on vacation, we have been trying to work on the girls' bedroom. We bought single beds for each of the children, and those beds are solid pine and will be coated with polyurethane. We painted an accent wall of a "not-so-dark-in-your-face" green on one wall. Next, we will put pine plankings along the ceiling for a different look. And we bought Wiggy her own 3 drawer dresser that we painted to match Dianna's dresser. Looking forward to the finished project. I will post more as we progress. Love you all.
