Saturday Trip to the Farmer's Market

We do enjoy our Saturday trips downtown to the Farmer's Market.  It is so much fun to see all the different offerings being sold by the vendors and just to be together and enjoy the time.  On this trip we found some mustard marinades, homemade salsa and a rack of pork ribs.  All three were tasty! On the walk back to the Dauntless, we noticed these cool doors across the street. The doors belonged to a Catholic church on the original site of the very first church in Pensacola. We also found a food reuck that was selling French crepes.  We bought a sugar, butter and lemon crepes. It was delicious.  Love you all. Have a great weekend.

Heavy Weight Champion of the World

(Ding, ding, ding!!) Welcome ladies and gentlemen to tonight's main event! The following contest is a three round bout. In this corner, the challenger in the blue bottle lid, is a bottle of warm milk. Looking to make a name for himself by taking down the champ, he weighs in at a whopping 5 ounces. 
In this corner, the champion with the golden brown tan and spiky hair, Jarod James!! The champion of 2 and a half months tips the scales at 13 pounds and 7 ounces. He "stands" (with help) at a towering 24 inches. He has a BMI of 16.4°/· and a head circumference of 15.5". 
And the referee has signaled for the start of the match and here we go!! The bottle looks like it might be a tough match do the champ. Jarod James opens with some feints....and WHOA! What a right hand! A wicked, thunderous haymaker and down goes the bottle!! No need for a 10 count, the bottle has nothing left in the tank! It is OVER! Family Fun at the Park

"Hello, Deer!"  So Barbie started back to work today and so the children are stuck with me for a week!  Ha-ha-ha-ha!!!!  We ran some errands and then spent a couple of hours at the park. The children had a good time and got to expend some energy; they even ran into some good friends from church and school out there. We all took our snack break at the same time. Love you all.

A Walk Through History

This weekend was a chance to visit National Parks for free. So we took advantage Of this oopportunity.   We went to Fort Pickens on Pensacola Beach.  This was the location where Geronimo was held after he was arrested by the government for refusing to be relocated to the Reservations.

The children had a blast. The LORD blessed us with a beautiful day. Love you all.

I Am Home!

Praise the LORD Cyrus came home yesterday. He is doing really well.  When he was discharged,  he weighed 6lbs and 13oz; today at his follow up appointment,  he weighed 7lbs and 3oz.  Love you all.
