A Little Bit of This and a Little Bit of That...

Hello there, all! Here is a just a quick look at what has been happening around the ole' homestead. We are very ready to be on vacation next weekend. Just have a few more details to work out and set things in order around here - so that when we return, it would not be an unpleasant homecoming.
Here in this picture the children are relaxing while watching something. I like how Jarod is propping himself between the couch and the coffee table. Dianna has a little something on the edge of her big toe; so she is soaking it in some warm water and Epsom salt. Here is a picture of the garden (I realize that it is hard to really see the plants because the tomatoes blend in with the yard around it). It is our Vegetable Garden in the Hidden Back Yard!! They are Ninja Tomatoes!!!
Here is a picture of my beautiful family. Barbie took a break from grading school work to pose for a photo op with her darling children. Jarod was saying, "Mama, I am taller than you!" They are so adorable!!! I love them!
Here are the Guardian Shinobi Three of the secret garden village. They take such good moving pictures outdoors. Dianna is wearing her yellow Samoan shirt that Mom and Dad sent to her for her first Christmas; back then she wore it as a night shirt. Look how she has grown.
This last picture of my little Buster running in the yard. Can you tell that he is dragging his Etch-a-Sketch? Jarod is also wearing a Samoan shirt from Grandma Ella and Grandpa David; it fits him too.
Well that is all for now. TTFN! We are looking forward to seeing Mom and Dad in Orlando in just over a week. Yippee!!!!!!!! Alofa tele. Have a good Sunday, everybody.

Uncle Resa Came to Visit

It was such a treat to have Res come to visit us from Arkansas. We have had a great time with him; the children were so excited to see and share time with their Uncle Resa. Before he got here, Dianna asked "Will Uncle call me Buck? I like it when he calls me Buck." And call her Buck he did. She absolutely loves her Uncle Resa. Jarod James has had an equally great time with his uncle. Whenever we came home from school, Jarod would ask "Is Uncle Resa still at my house?" And then he would run off to the door to check if he was around. Though hes has only been here for a couple days, I think the children will take a couple of days to adjust to not having Res here. We are all doing well and are counting down to vacation when we can see Mom and Dad. Here are some pictures of the children. Enjoy.
Well, this past Sunday was Dianna's Master's Clubs award ceremony. Here is a picture of her before leaving for the program. The LORD has truly blessed us with a wonderful and smart little Princess. Can you see all of her badges that she has earned this year. She has eleven badges in this picture and received one more at the program (that is not pictured).
Last Thursday was Dianna's K4 Parent Day. This is a one hour program that her class puts on in her classroom for parents and grandparents to see what they are learning and have learned throughout the year. Here she was selected to be the "Lilly Pad" in the acted out version of the song "The Little White Duck." She was the cutest little lilly pad ever!!! Here Dianna is at her seat at Table 4 (pink barret). She was so cute as she sat there with her hands in her lap and waiting patiently. Every now and again she would shoot us a smile and hold her hand up in the sign language language for "I love you."
This is a picture from the awards program. The ribbon she is wearing is in recognition of completing her second book - her 4yr old book. She is not smiling because she could not find us in the crowd. She did the same thing when she was in the Christmas program two years ago. I need to just find seats first, and show her where we will be sitting, so she will know where to look.
This last photo is of the children and their Uncle Resa hanging out on the couch. C-u-u-u-u-u-t-e!!
Love you all so much. Have a great day!!!
