White Sunday

Well, I do not have a video of the children doing their songs and verses to post, but I do have a picture of them in their outfits. Apparently, Walmart was not aware that this past Sunday was White Sunday, because we could not find a decent all white (alright with an oriental accent, Ha!) outfit for either of them. So here is the best we could do. They are both wearing white tops and blue bottoms. The hat was Jarod's idea.
Jarod had to come home sick yesterday afternoon. There is a stomach bug going around and all but Dianna has caught it. Jarod and Barbie stayed home together today. Jarod is doing much better and will return to school tomorrow. Barbie is not feeling all the way better but will also go back to school tomorrow - what a trooper/super mom. Please pray that Dianna does not get the bug. Below is a picture of Jarod this morning at the breakfast table (remember, normally he goes 90 mph from the time he is coherent to the time he falls asleep mid play). He climbed up into his seat and put his head down and fell back asleep.

We love the white outfits! Thank you for the effort, Palepa! we love you! and the floppy hat is a big plus!!! I know the boys here would rather wear a hat like that than the flower pale / haku which is traditional.

Awwww-www, poor Jarod James! he looks so wiped out - yup! that's how we know when the kids are sick - they just aren't running circles around us like when they are well. Glad to hear he's better, but please, dear family, take care - even here in the islands, the hospital is busy with the stomach virus and respiratory infections. So many children have been absent from school because of it. We're praying you all recover and that no one else gets sick.
Have a great week-end, dear ones. We love you! xoxoxoxo mua-ahhh!
(and yes, we are counting the days til the girls and their families come to visit....yaaaay!) xoxoxo

P.S. Palepa, check out this website beeyoutiful.com for some great natural vitamins and supplements. There is an especially good supplement called "Tummy Tune-Up" which is great for any tummy upsets caused by a virus. They have a free newsletter too which is filled with lots of testimonies from young families who have had excellent results from taking these supplements. I am interested in getting the "Super Mom" mulitiple vitamins and there's one for men as well as children. Take care of yourself, Palepa! Nobody is happy when mommy's sick....love you! Check it out - looks really good. Alofa tele, mom.
