A Call for Help and a Call to Action

Hello, my name is Bruton Gastor. I am here on behalf of not just the Florida Gulf coast, but for the entire state. The BP oil crisis has now touched the place that we all hoped would never be spoiled-the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. What was once an unspoiled water habitat for many water fowl species has now become marred because what has happened in the Gulf. Here is our lovely model showing us the unspoiled water of our resorts before the "Crude Crisis."
The behavior of our local wildlife has also been changed...and not for the better. Here is a bird that is foraging for food on the sand and not in the water like it should. Here is a squirrel that is obviously having some problems of some sort. I am not entirely certain what has caused this strange behavior, but I am willingly to lay blame at the feet of the BP oil conglomerate.
Here is a view of the direct effects of the oil on our beautiful shores. Not a pretty sight.Help us return our man-made waterways and recreational resort areas to their former glory. Thank you for your time and considerations. Donations can be made to the Tupua Disney Fund which will go directly to help fund future trips to help fund cleanups that may or may not take place. Help us preserve the Disney World we all know and love for our children and grandchildren.
(The preceding was a faux advertisement for the Tupua Disney vacation club. Which in no wise is connected to the Walt Disney World corporation. Also, this is not an actual solicitation for monetary donations. This was simply a satire on the state of the Gulf Coast. Thank you for reading. I hope that you had as much fun reading this as we did making it up.)

The brave souls who ventured to take the pictures to alert the otherwise unappreciative public gives kudos and brownie points to thee and thou.

You two look so relaxed. Thank the Lord that you and Barbie has found out early in your marriage the need for family and separate vacations. You go guys.

Mom and I worked to long. but I thank the Lord that you guys and your siblings have the opportunity to be close with your family.

Praise the Lord.

Talk to you later. Dad and Mom

Oh, and Lan, don't stop your postings; we love reading them and do not believe that you are making anything up - it is all real - just like the Magic Kingdom and the whole DisneyWorld experience! We had a really great time and wouldn't mind going back again, as the Lord tarries, and as He provides. Good job son with your blogging - you're a natural! Love you, xoxoxo mom

Thanks for reading. I have fun when I am bored. The children had a great time in Summer Seminar. No pictures though, because we were not there. They went to their sessions straight from school, and Barbie was either teaching a session or attending a session for class. But they had a great time. Jarod was able to be in two sessions: one on sounds and counting (Jarod was able to do the "special sound" that "c" makes in the word "cow". As well as a session having to do with using songs and poems to reinforce material taught.) Dianna was in one session that showcased the success of the A Beka reading program in the kindergarten level; she was able to read three Little Books from the K4-K5 grade levels. They both did great. We all miss you both so much.
