The behavior of our local wildlife has also been changed...and not for the better. Here is a bird that is foraging for food on the sand and not in the water like it should. 
Here is a squirrel that is obviously having some problems of some sort. I am not entirely certain what has caused this strange behavior, but I am willingly to lay blame at the feet of the BP oil conglomerate.

You two look so relaxed. Thank the Lord that you and Barbie has found out early in your marriage the need for family and separate vacations. You go guys.

Thanks for reading. I have fun when I am bored. The children had a great time in Summer Seminar. No pictures though, because we were not there. They went to their sessions straight from school, and Barbie was either teaching a session or attending a session for class. But they had a great time. Jarod was able to be in two sessions: one on sounds and counting (Jarod was able to do the "special sound" that "c" makes in the word "cow". As well as a session having to do with using songs and poems to reinforce material taught.) Dianna was in one session that showcased the success of the A Beka reading program in the kindergarten level; she was able to read three Little Books from the K4-K5 grade levels. They both did great. We all miss you both so much.
